Visitors love our libraries

Just before Christmas, Boots, Brackenhurst & Clifton Libraries hosted a visit from library staff across the East and West Midlands to view our recent refurbishments.

LIEM visit Brackenhurst Library – December 2014

Lyn Hodgkins on behalf of LIEM kindly coordinated the visits for us.  Over 50 staff from academic, school, college, public and corporate libraries joined the tours. During the tours we highlighted the major changes to the buildings, including the range of different study spaces, new shelving arrangements that enhance book promotion and display, access to IT, new lighting, decoration and furniture, plus the logistics of undertaking such large projects.  There was also plenty of opportunity for people to ask questions.
